As summer drew to a close, the nights grew clear and the air was crisp and fresh, the Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival filled the most complex and holy city in the world with a heavenly atmosphere. From within the walls of the Old City, from bustling squares, from the center of a regenerating city and from enchanted spaces under star-studded skies, a brand new voice rose up and filled Jerusalem with a new and harmonious song.

The Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival was much more than a festival of first-class music. It was a pure, clear and courageous call to artists and guests of every race, religion and nationality to come to Jerusalem to celebrate themselves and all that they consider sacred. It was a festival that turned Jerusalem into a place where utopia was offered the chance, if only for a week, to burst through the city’s daily reality into a place that hosts artists and audiences from across the globe in a spirit of equality and respect; a pilgrimage site where a new reality could be constructed based on past and present. 

In its fourth year, the Jerusalem Sacred Music Festival 2015 achieved a new depth. We were honored to present an even more expansive cultural program and to provide you with the opportunity to delve into new musical styles and encounter musical combinations that you had never heard before.  We were also delighted to offer you a chance to savor original and unforgettable productions, to share a refreshing, transformative and once-in-a-lifetime experience, and to invite you to take part in a musical celebration spanning continents, definitions, and faiths.
